About Proving Ground Farm
Proving Ground Farm is a functioning farm with trails, ponds, wetlands, and 80 acres of cropland. The farm is a beautiful space for visitors to explore nature and agriculture. The farm is open to the public to enjoy and also hosts events to help local farmers, school kids, and homeowners learn more about the natural resources that surround them.

Four youth hunters, selected through a random drawing, will take part in the turkey hunt over the two-day youth turkey season at the farm, with two kids hunting each day.

It was a record year for the Keith Owen Memorial Deer Hunt for the Mobility Impaired. The annual event – a partnership between Tiffin-Seneca Izaak Walton League and Seneca Conservation District – saw five deer harvested, the highest total taken since the event started in 1999.
