Fishing or Hunting

Catch and Release Fishing and Hunting

The public can catch and release fish at any of the ponds on our property - but the front pond is the best for fishing!

We also host several hunts throughout the year including deer, youth turkey, and youth rabbit.

Catch and Release Fishing

There are 3 ponds on the Proving Ground Farm property that are stocked with bluegill, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass and catfish. If you plan to visit us for a fishing trip, we ask that you be sure to clean up any mess, fishing line, or other trash that you may produce during your visit.

Licenses and Permits

The farm is public land so proper hunting/fishing licenses and permits should be obtained through the Ohio Division of Wildlife.
